There are many ways to get involved with the StreetWise organization. Of course, the easiest way to be involved is by purchasing the newspaper.

But for those of you looking for volunteer opportunities, StreetWise has many to choose from.

Literacy Chicago: We are always in search of tutors to work with our partnership through Literacy Chicago and assist some of our vendors to learn to read.

Writers: We are constantly looking for new and experienced writers to add to our ever-increasing quality of content for the newspaper.

Classes: StreetWise offers a variety of classes and workshops for our vendors including computer training, basic banking skills, and probably something you specialize in that we have not yet thought of.

Special Events: StreetWise is actively planning a variety of special events throughout the upcoming year and are always in need of enthusiastic aid in the planning process.
