About StreetWise Vendors

Vendors of StreetWise are men and women who are currently homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless. StreetWise helps these people by offering them an opportunity to earn an income and become financially self-sufficient. StreetWise does NOT offer hand-outs. Vendors purchase the magazines for $0.75 and sell them on the streets for $2.00.

StreetWise Vendor

For some vendors, selling StreetWise is how they make their living. For others, it is a stepping stone to help them get back on their feet. In either case, StreetWise gives anyone an opportunity to earn an income provided he or she shows a willingness to improve his or her life.

Some vendors use the StreetWise opportunity to put themselves through school, start a business, get a full time roof over their heads, provide for their families or as simple as putting a hot meal on their plate each night.

The best way to know if a vendor is legitimate is by checking for a StreetWise issued badge. If you have any concerns about the actions of a vendor, please contact Greg Pritchett.
